About
The Gare d'Orsay was built for the 1900 World's Fair and reopened as a museum in 1986. Its top floor holds Monet, Renoir, Degas and Van Gogh, and the great station clock frames a view over the Seine to the Louvre.
Best time to go: Thursday evenings, when it stays open late; book ahead.
