About
Begun in 1163, Notre-Dame is a masterpiece of French Gothic, with flying buttresses and great rose windows. After the fire of April 2019 destroyed its roof and spire, craftspeople restored it in five years. Entry is free.
Best time to go: Early morning, or reserve a free timed entry to skip the queue.
