About
The Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia opened on 12 December 1998 on the edge of the city's green lung. It is the largest museum of Islamic art in Southeast Asia. Its collection holds more than seven thousand artefacts drawn from across the Islamic world. The museum sits within walking distance of the National Mosque and the Perdana Botanical Gardens, so it anchors an easy half-day in the area.
Best time to go: Allow a full morning, and combine it with the National Mosque and the Perdana Botanical Gardens next door.
