Opened in 2006, the spa combines a glass-walled modern building with restored historic baths nearby. The warm, mineral-rich water comes from the same springs that fed the Roman Baths, and the open-air rooftop pool offers views across the city to the surrounding hills.
Best time to go: Book ahead and go at dusk, when the rooftop pool looks out over the lit abbey.
