About

Designed by John Wood the Younger and built between 1767 and 1774, the crescent looks out over the lawns of Royal Victoria Park. Its unified Palladian facade hides houses of varying designs behind, and No. 1 has been restored as a museum of fashionable eighteenth-century life.

Best time to go: View it from the lawn below, then step inside No. 1 Royal Crescent to see Georgian life.
