About
Built in the late fourteenth century and moved to its present spot in 1582, the tower once housed a bell that marked the dawn. Its triple-eaved roof and carved wooden galleries sit on a brick base pierced by arches, now on a roundabout at the centre of the city.
Best time to go: See it lit up after dark from the surrounding plaza, and climb it by day for views down the main streets.
