About

Named after the Polish astronomer, the centre opened in 2010 on the riverbank and quickly became one of the most popular attractions in the country. Its galleries invite visitors to experiment with physics, biology and robotics, and the adjoining planetarium offers shows under a domed screen.

Best time to go: Book ahead for weekends, and combine it with a walk along the Vistula boulevards.
