About
The Baroque court stables were converted into one of the world's largest cultural complexes, which opened in 2001. It combines historic wings with bold modern buildings, including the Leopold Museum with its outstanding Egon Schiele collection and the dark basalt cube of mumok, devoted to modern and contemporary art.
Best time to go: Visit the Leopold Museum for Schiele, then relax on the courtyard loungers on a summer evening.
