About
Andrea Palladio designed this church in the 1560s, and it closes the view from the Piazzetta like a stage set. Take the vaporetto one stop, then ride the lift up the campanile for one of the best views of Venice, usually without a queue.
Best time to go: Late afternoon, for the view back to St Mark's from its bell tower.
