About
The original tower collapsed in 1902 and was rebuilt exactly as it was, reopening in 1912. A lift takes you to the belfry, where Venice spreads out below and, on clear days, the Alps appear on the horizon.
Best time to go: Late afternoon, when the light over the lagoon is warm; there is a lift.
