About
Built in 1600, the bridge links the interrogation rooms of the palace to the new prisons. The romantic name was popularised by Lord Byron. You cross it inside on a Doge's Palace visit; the best outside view is from the Ponte della Paglia.
Best time to go: Early morning or evening, from the Ponte della Paglia.
