About
Consecrated in 1435 after more than 150 years of building, the cathedral's twin spires rise to 118.7 metres. It was the coronation church of Swedish kings, and inside lie the tombs of Gustav Vasa, the botanist Carl Linnaeus and the scientist Emanuel Swedenborg, along with a treasury of textiles.
Best time to go: Visit in the late afternoon and listen for the organ during rehearsals or services.
