About
Carolina Rediviva is Sweden's largest research library, housed in a grand building from the nineteenth century at the top of Drottninggatan. Its exhibition hall displays the Codex Argenteus, a sixth-century Gothic Bible written in silver ink, along with maps and music manuscripts.
Best time to go: Ask to see the exhibition hall, where the treasures are shown behind glass.
