The garden was moved here in the eighteenth century when the Swedish king gave the university the castle garden, and the Linneanum orangery was built to house it. Its grounds include a formal Baroque garden, thousands of species and a tropical greenhouse.
Best time to go: Walk the Baroque garden in summer, then warm up in the tropical greenhouse.
