About
The small peninsula once held a Benedictine monastery and later served as the city cemetery, before being laid out as a park in the second half of the twentieth century. Paths wind through pines and cypresses to a little colonnaded pavilion on the point, where there are views over the harbour, the waterfront and the islands offshore.
Best time to go: Stroll out from the western end of the harbour late in the day and watch the sun drop over the sea.
