About
Ironically, the emperor who persecuted Christians had his mausoleum turned into a church dedicated to one of his victims, Saint Domnius. Its octagonal interior preserves Roman columns and a medieval pulpit, and the Romanesque bell tower rises high above the palace.
Best time to go: Climb the bell tower in the morning for a view over the palace and harbour.
