About
Siyob Bazaar is the largest market in Samarkand and one of the most visited places in the city. It covers more than seven hectares, with seven large covered pavilions and many other halls of shops. The main entrance is a triple arch faced with blue majolica. The bazaar takes its name from the Siyob district and the Siyob river that flows nearby, and it stands a short walk from the Bibi-Khanym Mosque.
Best time to go: Come in the morning, when the stalls are fullest, straight after visiting the Bibi-Khanym Mosque.
