About
The arch was built around 29 to 27 BC to honour three members of the Sergii family, one of whom served at the Battle of Actium. Richly carved with garlands, chariots and Corinthian columns, it once stood against a city gate and now marks the entrance to the old town's main street.
Best time to go: Walk through the arch into Sergijevaca Street and continue to the Forum.
