About
Raised during Augustus's lifetime on the northern side of the Forum, the temple has a portico of Corinthian columns and a finely carved frieze. It was badly damaged by bombing in 1944 and carefully rebuilt afterwards, and today it displays Roman stone sculpture found around the city.
Best time to go: See it in the evening light from the Forum, and look inside at the small collection of Roman sculpture.
