About
Founded in the early twelfth century, the cathedral was remodelled in Neo-Gothic style at the end of the nineteenth century, when its slender main tower was raised to around 100 metres. Its crypt holds a display of church treasures, and it stands on Wenceslas Hill, the historic core of the city.
Best time to go: Visit in the morning and look down into the crypt before exploring the castle quarter next door.
