About
Olomouc was an early seat of Přemyslid princes, and the castle complex around the cathedral preserves precious remains of a twelfth-century bishop's palace with delicately carved Romanesque windows. The adjoining Archdiocesan Museum displays church art and treasures accumulated over many centuries.
Best time to go: Combine the Archdiocesan Museum with the Romanesque palace windows in one unhurried visit.
