About
Built in the fifteenth century with two sturdy towers, St Maurice is the finest Gothic church in the city. Its great Baroque organ, made by Michael Engler in the 1740s and later enlarged, has five manuals and is the centrepiece of a respected organ festival, while the north tower offers views over the rooftops.
Best time to go: Come during the international organ festival in September, or climb the tower for the view.
