About
Founded as a Benedictine abbey in the late eleventh century and later run by Premonstratensians, Hradisko was rebuilt on a palatial scale in the Baroque era. Since 1802 it has served as a military hospital, so visits are limited, but its long façade and towers are an impressive sight on the northern edge of town.
Best time to go: View the grand façade from outside, as the complex still serves as a military hospital.
