About
Alice Kyteler was a wealthy medieval moneylender accused of sorcery after the deaths of several husbands, and she fled Ireland while her maid was burned at the stake. The stone inn associated with her name has a vaulted cellar bar and is one of the liveliest pubs in town.
Best time to go: Drop in for a drink and traditional music in the evening.
