About
The green was enclosed in the seventeenth century and opened to the public in 1880 thanks to Sir Arthur Guinness, who paid for its landscaping. Georgian terraces surround it, and within are an ornamental lake, a bandstand, and memorials to figures including Wolfe Tone and James Joyce.
Best time to go: Take a break here after Grafton Street and feed the ducks by the lake.
