About
Built in the thirteenth century beside a well where St Patrick is said to have baptised converts, the cathedral was heavily restored in the Victorian era with Guinness family money. Inside you can see Swift's grave and epitaph, the medieval Door of Reconciliation and colourful banners of the old knightly order of St Patrick.
Best time to go: Come for choral Evensong, or rest afterwards in the neighbouring park.
