About
Designed by Paul Tournon and completed in 1930, the Sacré-Cœur is one of the landmarks of Casablanca's colonial-era architecture. Its twin towers and pale concrete façade echo both Gothic cathedrals and Moroccan minarets. It ceased to serve as a church after independence and is now used for exhibitions and cultural events.
Best time to go: See it on a walk through the Arab League Park, and check whether an exhibition allows you inside.
