About

Toqi Telpak Furushon is a domed bazaar in the historic centre of Bukhara, built in 1571 under the Shaybanid ruler Abdullah Khan II. It is one of the historic covered trading domes of the old city, along with the money changers' dome of Toqi Sarrofon. The building is listed on Uzbekistan's national register of cultural heritage. It stands close to the Magok-i-Attari Mosque, on the natural walking route between the Po-i-Kalyan and Lab-i Hauz, so it is easy to pass through several times.

Best time to go: Browse in the late afternoon, and walk on through the other trading domes towards Lab-i Hauz.
