About
The lower chapel is a sombre Romanesque space from the twelfth century, while the upper chapel was rebuilt in Gothic style and richly decorated in the nineteenth century. The relic of the Holy Blood has been kept here since the Middle Ages and is carried through the streets each spring in the Procession of the Holy Blood.
Best time to go: Visit around the daily veneration, when the relic is brought out for the faithful.
