About
Paul Klee grew up in Bern, and the centre that opened in 2005 holds some four thousand of his works, the largest collection anywhere. Renzo Piano's building rises from the landscape in three steel waves, and exhibitions rotate the fragile drawings and paintings to protect them from light.
Best time to go: Take the bus out on an afternoon and walk through the surrounding fields afterwards.
