About
Opened in 2011 in the Eilandje harbour district, the MAS stacks gallery boxes around a spiralling glass walkway. Its collections explore Antwerp's role as a port and its links with the wider world, while the free route up the escalators leads to a rooftop with panoramic views over the river Scheldt, the docks and the city.
Best time to go: Ride the escalators through the building to the free rooftop, especially near sunset.
