From 1942 until their arrest in 1944, the Frank family and four others lived in the secret annexe behind the business premises on Prinsengracht. Visitors pass through the hidden entrance behind a bookcase into the bare rooms, and Anne's original diary is displayed at the end of the route.
Best time to go: Tickets are released online in advance and sell out quickly; there is no door sale.
