About
The church dates back to the thirteenth century, but its famous roof was added in the nineteenth century, with coats of arms of Croatia, Dalmatia, Slavonia and Zagreb in coloured tiles. It stands on a square with the Croatian Parliament and government buildings.
Best time to go: Come in the late afternoon, when the light brings out the colours of the roof.
