About
At the centre of the square stands an equestrian statue of Josip Jelačić, a ban of Croatia in the nineteenth century. It is surrounded by buildings in a mix of styles and is the busiest meeting point in the city.
Best time to go: Meet at the clock, as locals do, then walk up to Dolac Market.
