About
The present brick cathedral was built mostly in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries and heavily restored after severe wartime damage. Its twin spires dominate the skyline of the island, and inside are Baroque side chapels, including one designed by Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach.
Best time to go: Take the lift up one of the towers for a view across the islands of the Oder.
