Set in an ivy-clad building near the river, the museum holds one of the most important collections of medieval Silesian art, including stone sculpture and altarpieces. Its galleries continue through European and Polish painting to modern and contemporary art.
Best time to go: Use the same visit to see the Panorama opposite, which shares the ticket office.
