About
Laid out in the thirteenth century, the Rynek is surrounded by burgher houses whose facades span Gothic to Art Nouveau. Its centre is filled with a block of buildings including the Old Town Hall, and neighbouring Salt Square adds a flower market and more cafés.
Best time to go: Arrive in the evening when the gables are lit and the café terraces are full.
