About
Bait Al Naboodah is a traditional house built for a family of pearl merchants in what is now the Heart of Sharjah. It stands in the restored old town among other heritage houses, and today it is a museum that shows how a prosperous trading family lived in the days when pearling was the backbone of the local economy. Its name, Al Naboodah House, comes from the family who built it.
