About
Steep steps lead from the old streets of the right bank past chapels of the Stations of the Cross to the Capuchin monastery near the top. Along the way, viewpoints look straight across the river at the cathedral and fortress, and the woods beyond are a peaceful place to walk.
Best time to go: Climb the steps from Linzer Gasse in the morning for a view of the old town lit from the east.
