About
Consecrated in 1628 after its predecessor burned, the cathedral was among the first early Baroque churches north of the Alps. Its white and gold interior is crowned by a lofty dome, and the Romanesque font where Mozart was baptised in 1756 survives from the older building.
Best time to go: Try to hear one of the organ recitals or a Sunday choral Mass.
