About
Completed in the 1880s to designs by Eugène-Étienne Taché, the building's facade is lined with statues of figures from the history of Quebec. Inside, the assembly chamber is decorated in green and the Council chamber in red. Its motto, Je me souviens, appears on the building and has become the motto of the province.
