About
A church has stood on this site since the seventeenth century, and the building was rebuilt several times after fires and the siege of 1759. Its richly gilded interior centres on an elaborate canopy above the altar. The crypt holds the tombs of bishops and governors of New France.
Best time to go: Step inside to see the golden baldachin over the altar and the crypt of the bishops.
