About
Bishop György Klimo opened his collection to the public in 1774, hoping it would support a university in Pécs. Its beautiful historic hall preserves rare manuscripts, incunabula and early printed books, and the library remains part of the university today.
Best time to go: Check for guided visits, which open up the historic reading room near the cathedral.
