About
The painter Francisco Toledo, Oaxaca's greatest modern artist and a tireless cultural patron, founded the institute in the late 1980s. Its courtyards host exhibitions of prints and graphic art, and its library and archive have helped make Oaxaca one of Mexico's liveliest centres for printmaking.
Best time to go: Pair it with Santo Domingo across the street and rest in the peaceful inner courtyards.
