Jonker Walk runs along Jonker Street in Malacca's Chinatown, starting across the river from the Stadthuys. Historic houses, some dating to the 17th century, line both sides. Many are now shops selling antiques, textiles, food, handicrafts and souvenirs. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings the street closes to traffic and becomes a busy night market.
