About
Dating from the fifteenth century and rebuilt in the sixteenth, the Spreuer Bridge crosses the Reuss downstream of the Chapel Bridge. Beneath its roof hang panels painted in the seventeenth century by Kaspar Meglinger, depicting death arriving for people from every walk of life.
Best time to go: Cross it after the Chapel Bridge for a quieter and more atmospheric experience.
