About
Designed by the American artist Vito Acconci for 2003, the shell-shaped platform is part bridge, part island. It holds a café and a small open-air amphitheatre, and has become one of the most distinctive sights of modern Graz.
Best time to go: Cross it in the evening, when the steel shell is lit in shifting colours.
