About
Designed by Peter Cook and Colin Fournier for the city's year as European Capital of Culture in 2003, the Kunsthaus sits among traditional rooftops on the right bank of the Mur. Its acrylic skin carries a screen of lights, and inside it hosts changing exhibitions of contemporary art.
Best time to go: View the building from the Schlossberg first, then cross the river to see the current exhibition.
