About
Ferdinand II, born in Graz, commissioned his own tomb in the early seventeenth century, and the building combines a domed church with an oval burial chapel. Its facade is a fine example of Mannerism, and the interior was decorated later to designs by Fischer von Erlach, a native of Graz.
Best time to go: Combine it with the cathedral next door and the view down the old town lanes.
