About
Bishop Károly Eszterházy founded the lyceum in the eighteenth century, hoping to create a university. Its library has a ceiling fresco of the Council of Trent, while the tower holds an astronomy museum and a camera obscura that projects live images of the town onto a table.
Best time to go: Head for the top of the observatory tower around midday for the camera obscura demonstration.
